Before you book a tour with our Tripbus, please carefully read and be sure that you fully understand the Terms and Conditions as stated below. If there is anything that confuses you, please don't hesitate to let us know, our staff will be very happy to clarify any questions you may have.

Tour Reservation Procedures
The kind of tour you can book from tripbus:
Right now we provide only "private tours" in Tibet. You (maybe yourself only, or with your spouse or lover, or your family, or your friends) will have an English speaking licensed tour guide, a private vehicle (with size in accordance with the group) and a licensed driver. The guide, driver and vehicle will be at your service during the whole trip organized by tripbus.

work out your tour itinerary and a price for it :
Since we know every traveler's interest and requirement is UNIQUE, we provide personalized travel service to you, whatever you are individual travelers, couples, families, or a group people from an organization. Here are easy steps for us to work out a perfect itinerary and reasonable price:

1) Decide how many days you have to travel in Tibet; and when you want to begin;
2) Decide what places or areas you want to go;
3) Choose a tour route from the Tibet tour, or simply tell us a list of places you want to go, or leave it to our advices;
4) Tell us the number of travelers. The bigger the group size is, the better discount you can get.
5) Tell us the the class of the hotel you want to stay.
- The accommodation conditions are not so good as in Beijing and Shanghai. The best available hotel in Lhasa is 4 star. We provide 4 star, 3 star hotels and guesthouse (cheaper hotels which has variety of rooms within and without bathroom). we suggest they who want to stay at the better accommdation stay in at least 3 star hotels;
6) Tell us if you need air tickets from us. We provide air tickets in and out of Lhasa, and we can also provide tickets for domestic flights in all over China;
7) Tell us if you have any other special requirement (e.g., vegetarians, non-smokers, etc.)

notes: Please bury in mind that you have to come in and get out of Tibet within the duration in the Tibet travel permit - no more than that duration as is documented. In another word, if you book two days tour you cannot stay more than 2 days in Tibet.

The less information you provide, the slower we could reach a satisfactory result.

Reservation :
When you have ideas for the above issues,You can contact with us by email or MSN messager to let us know your tour plans. After receiving your inquiry, we will work out an ideal tour itinerary and price with full understanding of your requirements (we might have more questions). When it finally meets your satisfaction, then it's time for you to book your trip with us.

Reservation Procedures :
1. Click Tour Reservation Order Form and fill in it to reserve your preferred tour package, if you take a customized or private tour, please attach the related tour itinerary and price we offered to you. Then click [Send] or fax to us at (86)-28-86630114

2. Our staff will normally confirm your reservation within 2 working days and send you back the confirmation ( with our company stamp on it.)

3. Deposit is required within 3 working days after receipt of our confirmation. When this is done, please send us the copy of the receipt by email or fax to us at (86)-28-86630114.
You can choose to pay full payment or 50% of your tour fee as deposit of tour reservation, the balance 50% of your tour fee can be paid at our Chengdu office before you start your tour, otherwise you need to pay the balance at least 7 working days before departure of your tour.

4. The confirmation will be sent to you when we receive the deposit. And the tour details will be sent to you (includes guide, driver or office address, phone number, ect.) 2 or 3 days before you start your tour.

reservation policy :
We suggest you book your Tibet tour at least 45 days before your arrival date, especially for the peak season of August and September. Below is our reservation policy.

1 If the booking is made two months (60 days) prior to your arrival in Lhasa, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost plus transportation fares (flight, train) is required to secure your reservation when you confirm your trip with us.

2 If the booking is made within two months (60 days), but 15 days prior to your arrival in Lhasa, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost plus transportation fares (flight, train)is required to secure your reservation when you confirm your trip with us.

3 If the booking is made within 15 days prior to your arrival in Lhasa, you are required to pay in full, i.e. total tour cost and transportation fares.

Payment Methods
Payment can be made by WESTERN UNION (Recommended) or Wire Transfer

1. WESTERN UNION ( http://www.westernunion.com/)

Step1: Go to the Western Union Agent location nearby, fill in the money order. Please find the Agent location nearby.

Step2: Submit the money transfer form and email or fax the Transfer Control Number to us. Usually it only takes about 15 minutes to receive the money after you transfer it. We will confirm it via Email.

2. Paypal (with or without a Paypal account)
tripubs now take Paypal as the most welcome payment method. Whatever if you have or have not a Paypal account, you may pay us securely with Paypal. Paypal is free, fast, easy, secure and global.It's definitely your worry-free payment method with tripbus.

3. Wire Transfer ( Bank of China)
If you couldn't find any Western Union Agent in your city, you can wire to our bank (Chengdu Huaxi branch of Bank of China) account from any bank in your city. It usually takes about 3-5 days to arrive at our bank account.

4. Credit Card (authorization letter by fax)

Tripbus accepts credit card payment with authorization letter by fax. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express Card, etc. Fill your VALID credit card information in the credit card authorization form,then fax it to us.

Alteration, Cancellation and Refunding
Alteration :
We provide free service to modify your itinerary two times after you confirm to book your tour. We do provide unlimited alteration to meet your ultimate satisfaction, but from the third time we charge a $20 surcharge for every new modification. Too late alteration might not be workable.
Notice: If a change to the confirmed itinerary or service standard is caused by forces, such as weather, unforeseen circumstances, political upheavals, etc., neither party shall be held responsible, and any extra cost thus caused shall be covered by the tourist himself.

Cancellation :
You may cancel your confirmed booking, but this must be in writing. But cancellation occurs after your confirmation to book the tour, or if you fail to pay the full cost of the tour within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges. Cancellation charges are as follows:

- If you cancel your tour more than 30 days before the start of your tour with us you forfeit $100 from the deposit you paid. We will refund the rest of the deposit back to you in 30 days. (Other travel agencies require the full deposit.)
- If you cancel your tour within 30 days but more than 7 days before the start of your tour you forfeit 30% of the cost of your tour.
- If you cancel your tour within 7 days of the start of your tour you forfeit 50% of the cost of your tour.
- If you fail to show up at your scheduled arrival time without prior notice, you forfeit 100% of the cost of your tour.
- If you cancel the tour programs due to your own reasons when touring in Tibet, there is no refund of any expense you have already paid. If you want to book some extra programs, you need to pay for the extra cost.

** The effective date of notification regarding cancellation will begin when the notification is received at our premises in writing (email or fax).

Refunding
- If you have paid your deposit but then cancel the tour more than 30 days before the start of your tour, we will refund all the deposit except $100 cancellation fee.

Insurance & Documentation
Please make sure to purchase your international standard of travel insurance coverage before your departure from your country. You have to obtain your China Visa before your trip to China.
