Day01(Aug27), Arrival at Lhasa [3658m] (D)
Upon arrival at Lhasa airport or train station, greeted by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa. then have a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude.

Day02(Aug28), Lhasa City sightseeing(B+L+D)
Activities: visit Potola Palace & Jokhang Temple

As it’s the first day of your sightseeing in Tibet, Jokhang temple and Potala Palace , which is must for you.
Potala Palace is one of the great wonders of world architecture. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages.
Jokhang temple is the most scared shrine in Tibet which was built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, the circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs.
Both of them are the focal points of pilgrims from entire Tibetan world, multitudinous pilgrims are circumambulating and prostrating in their strong faith.

Day 03(Aug29), Lhasa sightseeing (B+L+D)
Activities: visit Drepung monastery & Sera Monastery
highlights: Shoton festival starts from today
Today is the first day of Shoton Festival, you will be arranged to see Big Thangka displaying in the early morning at Drepung Monastery, and afternoon at Sera Monastery, this ceremony shows that Shoton festival begins.
There will be Campfire evening party in the evening, Grilled the whole lamb and Beer drinking, dance and celebrate the festival with local Tibetans.

Day 04(Aug30), Lhasa sightseeing (B+L+D)
Activities: enjoy the activities of Shoton Festival.
Highlights: Norbulingka- Tibetan Opera
Morning you will be arranged to visit Summer Palace - Norbulingka, here you will see Tibetan Opera, afterward visit Tibet Museum.
After that, there will be big activities for foreigners spend the festivals together with local Tibetans.
We will offer Lhasa Beer for this festival.

Day 05(Aug31) Lhasa /shigatse
Activities: drive from Lhasa to shigatse
Highlights: Yamdrok-tso Lake, Pelkor Chode Monastery
Drive to Gyantse after breakfast. On the way, dazzling Yamdrok-tso Lake(4441 m) 3hours driving can be seen from the summit of the Kamba-la pass(4794m). Yamdrok is one of Three Holy Lake in Tibet. When you arrive at Gyantse, visit Pelkor Chode Monastery. The Monastery is founded in 1418, notable for its superb Kumbum Chode(10,000 Images Stupa). Later transferred to Shigatse.
Day 06(sep1)shigatse/Lhasa
Activities: Tashilunpo Monastery
Morning visit the Bachen Lama Set - Tashilunpo Monastery, which was Built in1447 by the first Dalai Lama. Then the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along Yarlong Tsangpo river by the Nepal friendship road. Then, our guide will take you to visit a local Tibetan family and Tibetan carpet workshop for free. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 07(sep2), Lhasa / Namtso Lake (B+L+D)
Activities: trekking around Namtso lake
Highlights: Namtso lake
In the morning, attend the festival and proceed to Tashi Dor, situated in the south-eastern corner of the Namtso, one of the three most holy lake in Tibet. Namtso Lake with a surface area elevation of 4700m is revered as a holy lake. It is both the highest and biggest salt water lake in the world.
Overnight at Namtso lake tent guest house(dorm bed).
Day 08(sep3), Namtso Lake / Lhasa(3650M high,250KM, 3 hours) (B+L+D)
Activities: trekking around Namtso lake
Highlights: watch sunrise along Namtso lake
Morning if you are lucky enough, you will see the Sunrise at the lake, take some walk or excursion of the lake, or just sit and relax on the Tashi Dor Isand, afternoon drive back to Lhasa.
Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 09(sep4), Lhasa airport /train station dropping off(B)
Morning Lhasa airport or train station dropping off, end the trip.

1) no beer for the first two nights avoid mountain sickness.
2) Don’t drink too much even you think you have strong body.
