Waterfalls in Metok

Brief introduction of Waterfalls in Metok: 
The mountains are as many as the water and waterfalls in Metok. Some waterfalls are so weak that they look like strands of gauze lanterns. And some waterfalls are so large that the voice can be heard far away. Those waterfalls never dry up in the four seasons. Among the waterfalls, some are quite famous, such as the U-shaped Waterfull which is regarded as "a wonder of Tsangpo", the Hanmi Waterfall about 400 feet high, the Tiger`s Mouth Waterfall Flowing from the cliff, the Didong Waterfall, the Beiben Waterfall rounded by the fog and the cloud, the Lhage Waterfall like a colored strip waving in the air, and so on.

WWhen winter is here, the current of the Beiben Waterfall gets less. It seems charming and lovely. In summer, the current gets more. And the earthshaking and tremendous momentum looks like a huge dragon flying out. The steamed water fog aroused by the waterfall often reaches hundreds of feet. It waves in the air. Consequently, a little rain often comes down in this area.

TThe Tiger's Mouth Waterfall is earthshaking and soul-stirring, too. The current of the waterfall is suddenly stopped by the rock in the middle of the cliff. The aroused drops are like pearls. And the voice it makes is shaking the earth and the heaven. The river in the valley flows loudly like a roaring animal. It seems that the whole valley is shaking. When the sun sets in the west, there are often rainbows above the Tiger's Mouth Waterfall. The changing scene is magnificent.

The Hanmi Waterfall is piled up one after one, and the drop even reaches 400 feet. It falls from the peak to the deep of the valley. The top of the waterfall reaches into the sky. The rumble of the waterfall roared in the valley. The drop of the waterfall is so large that when it is shining, there is a colorful rainbow near the waterfall, which is magnificently decked out for both sides of the valley.
